Staatsoper at Cinema Price!

 During this six-week promotion, thanks to the friends and supporters of the Staatsoper Unter den Linden, €12 tickets are available to everyone under the age of 30. 

The promotion association campaign STAATSOPER ZUM KINOPREIS is taking place for the 8th time, but for the first time on this scale, with an offer that is valid for six weeks for all events in the large hall. The Staatsballett Berlin will also take part in this special event thanks to the support of the Friends and Patrons of the Staatsballett Berlin.

In order to make opera as accessible as possible, price must not be a factor. The program from October 9 to November 21, 2021 includes a new production of Mozart's COSÌ FAN TUTTE, a symphony concert by the Staatskapelle Berlin under the direction of its general music director and with the young cellist Kian Soltani as a soloist, and BAROCKTAGE, with the premiere of André Campras’s IDOMÉNÉE, and two music theater revivals. In addition, performances by the Staatsballett Berlin.

The friends and sponsors have been supporting the artistic work of the Staatsoper Unter den Linden ideally and materially for almost 30 years now, because ART NEEDS FRIENDS - AND WE NEED ART! With annual contributions and donations, friends of the Staatsoper Unter den Linden support new productions, the Staatskapelle Berlin, the educational work of the Junge Staatsoper, and the talent development of the Orchestra Academy and the International Opera Studio.
